Casseroles

JENELL'S MACARONI & CHEESE CASSEROLE

1 medium onion (diced)

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp Mrs. Dash

¼ tsp black pepper

2 – 3 cups Elbow Macaroni

2 tablespoons flour

½ stick butter

Velveeta Cheese (diced)

1½ - 2 cups Milk

 

Boil macaroni until tender.

In saucepan sautee' onion in butter until tender.

Add flour and stir well.

Add Milk and continue to stir.

Add salt, pepper & Mrs. Dash to mixture.

Gradually add cheese chunks and stir continually.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

When sauce has thickened and cheese is all melted, blend in casserole dish with macaroni and place in oven. Bake for 30- 40 minutes until golden brown.

Do not over cook.
